My Girlfriend and I of over 50 years picked the Pin Oak B&B as a half way spot for each of us to meet for a relaxing weekend. She lives north of Ft Worth and I live in Houston. We couldn't have chosen a more perfect place. Very Gracious hosts, awesome accommodations and just a beautiful place to spend a few days!
Wonderful experience! Soft bed and a large room (Heritage Room). Owner went out of his way to make us feel welcome, including preparing rainbow pancakes for our 2-year-old son. Will definitely come back the next time we are in the area.
The owners husband and wife Walter and Jenny are so very sweet and have so many stories to tell. I love going places and hearing about the history! The home is absolutley beautiful and the property is also!! Great place to take really good pictures! ABSOLUTLEY LOVED the breakfast!!! WAY BETTER then any holiday inn or other hotels you go to !!! I will absolutley be back and recommend the Pin Oak B&B in Calvert to EVERYONE !!!!!!! Thank you so much for an amazing weekend Walter and Jenny!!!!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this b&b. The hosts welcome you like family and treat you like honored guests. The b&b is decorated in early 1900's style but with modern amenities. We enjoyed waking up each morning to the smell of a 5-star breakfast being cooked, walking out on the spacious grounds, including 61 large oak trees. If we are ever in the College Station area in the future, this is where we are staying!
We felt like family the second we walked through the front door. Walter & Jenny are wonderful hosts; not to mention some incredible chefs! Convenient drive to College Station and great accommodations. We'll definitely be staying here again.
